Does Anyone Know How To Get A Good Ink Footprint Of Their Little One?

Hello ladies, hope everyone is doing well with their new addition in the family =0) I just wanted to know if anyone knows how to get a good ink footprint of their baby's little foot. I'm having a really hard time with this =0( Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. The hospital where my son was born did not take his footprints or handprints.

It's basically trial and error.  YOu need to make sure that when you put the hand or foot in ink that you don't get too much on it....if you do you should blot it a little.  Make sure that you put the hand/foot directly down on the paper so that all parts touch at the same time and ensure that the hand/foot or paper don't slide otherwise it smears.  Be prepared to attempt this several times in order to get a good one.

Hmmm...I've heard of some parents doing it themselves. I've been considering doing it for my baby. I only have her feet on one paper and I wanna get one other of her foot and one of her hand.
