Cramping/Spotting

I'm 41yrs old & 5w5d pregnant, I wasn't planning on starting all over again. I have 2 grown children(19&20). Had back surgery 7yrs ago. I look at is as a gift from God, a true blessing.  I found out on 1/28 I had an pelvic exam & transvaginal ultrasound, I've been having cramps for 4wks now & I spotted a little after the exam which the doctor said was normal. Now I started spotting again 4th day(redish brown). In the ultrasound they seen a sac no yolk, I will have another ultrasound on 2/8 hoping to see a heartbeat. I'm worried with my age, all the risk/complications. Is this cramping/spotting normal?

Drink LOTS of water, put ur legs up. You can go to emergency and they can do another U/S also test your hcg levels to see if they keep increasing. Wish u well. Keep us posted. Hugs.
