Is it safe?

Is it safe to still try and have sex to naturally induce labor after your mucus plug is out and after you've started early labor?  I'm 1 1/2 cm dilated according to my doctor as of yesterday... I get the contractions, they become frequent and then they stop...

Anyone?

Yah its perfectly safe. Ive lost my plug and im 4 cm dialated and also GBS positive and my doc said it was fine unless my water breaks or i feel leaking.

I don't think its a problem since the sac really protects from infections but I'm not positive.  I would call dr and double check.  Good luck!  We tried sex didn't work for us.  Going to have to try a few more times ;).

Yeah, this *****.  I think we're going to try sex, but I'm concerned because I'm GBS positive and my mucus plug came out already...What do you think?

Completely safe.  You just can't have sex after your water breaks.  I'm having the same problem with contractions and as of Tues I was 4cm.  Just want my little man to make his arrival.
