Its just a waiting game... baby will come when she's ready. I was at 2cm for weeks 37-38, at my 39wk appointment I dialted to 3cm. Doc was SO sure Id go into labor before Saturday... Its now Monday and no baby... I've tried walking, Sex, nipple stimulation, RRLT.. nada. She's waiting until she's good and ready. My due date is the 4th.. fingers crosses she'll come! My husband is already on his 2wk leave and he may not get much time with her if she comes really late! :(

I'm actually due September 10th as well, my cervix is thinning, but no dilation yet.  I think I may be starting to dilate because I believe I lost my mucus plus this past week.  My next appointment is on Thursday, I'm hoping to get some good news about progression myself.  I understand exactly how you feel.  They say walking a lot helps with pulling the baby down using gravity and that MAY help get you going, (at least you're dilated) lol... Sex sometimes helps I guess also, but due to the mucus plug coming out, I'm so nervous about doing anything right now.  Other than that, I guess it's just a waiting game...Hope this helps, congrats...
