I've had one already and even though it was normal they still want me to do one when I'm 26 weeks so in about 1-2 weeks. I've had to do them with every pregnancy. They only make me do one because in over weight. I understand why, but still it gets annoying.

Take a book it'll be ok. The drinks have gotten better than they used to be. :)

Not bad.  Don't eat anything before you go. Get the orange flavor.  It tastes like super concentrated orange gatorade. Very sweet and syrupy.  They tell you to drink it fast. Just drink as fast as you can without getting sick.  Worst part for me is the waiting after you drink it.

I just took mine this morning. Of course I had a dumb pregnancy moment and ate a Pop Tart before. Bonk! Nothing like eating a pile of sugar before taking a glucose test. ;) I had a choice of fruit punch or orange flavor. It wasn't bad. Just like a sugary soda. It was nice that it was cold. I just read a book for an hour then they took a blood sample. No big deal. It'll take a day or two for results....

The pop/juice is not that bad. Just a little sweet. Ask for the orange flavor if available pretend you drinking a Orange soda. You would do fine.
