Weight gain

I didn't gain any weight until last month. I gained 12 pounds. My doctor told me it's unhealthy, but nothing in my life has changed. I walk, I eat the same, Im on my feet all say. Should I be worried? Or is it normal to gain a lot of weight?

I lost 11 lbs my first trimester d/t all day sickness. I am now 30 weeks and have only gained 2 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. At 20 weeks he was already at the 83rd percentile for size.As long as my baby is healthy I'm not going to worry.

I gained 13 pounds this last month but it's from swelling and puffiness. My doctor has be doing a 24 hour urine test, rather disgusting but just to make sure I don't have protein in my urine. I have gain 41 pounds total and im 28 weeks, it's all belly though

I didn't gain any weight until month 5 and then put on 9lbs. Leveled out after that. Dr said I must have just been making up for lost time :).

I'm 28 weeks and have gained over 30 lbs, first my doctor said it was a little high, but my last appointment he said my weight and baby's weight is good. I drink tons of water I walk around at work 8 hours a day and I try my best to eat healthy (although it's not always the best)! I think everyone gains weight at a different pace, and you lose it all after the baby comes especially if you plan to breastfeed :)

I always gain heaps in 2nd half of pregnancy, and can't stop it from happening (I'm still  hungry even after eating). Always have healthy babies and lose the weight quickly too so I've stopped looking at recommended weight charts. With my 2nd pregnancy I ate less carbs, and put on less than my first, but I still would have fallen into the 'excessive' weight gain range. Sometimes your body's just gonna do what it's gotta do even though it doesn't look nice and neat on your doctor's clipboard ;)
