18 weeks no movement yet

Hi all! 18 weeks pregnant with my 1st and still don't think I have felt the baby move. Is this normal? Any advice?

A lot of people don't feel the baby move until closer to 20 or 25 weeks. I know it must suck, but it's actually extremely common not to feel them until then. If you do feel the baby before then it is usually mistaken for other bodily functions; such as gas, muscle spasms, growing, etc.
I felt the a difference at 4 weeks. I felt twitching at 8 weeks. I have had to be very aware of slight changes in my body because of having had cancer before so I knew when something was different. I felt the first kick around 8 weeks as well.

Thank you both. Last two days I have felt some flutterings - I guess I was being impatient!!!

I'm 19 weeks, but feeling movements does come and go! It kind of feel like butterflies or fluttering, but doesn't last long. Everyone is different and will feel movements at different times :)

I didn't feel my first until 19 wks.   I'll be 20 wks tomorrow and barely feel anything.   If I didn't know what I was looking for I'd say I haven't felt anything either!  I think I've got a lazy baby this time.   You're fine,  it could still take a couple wks yet.
