I had few drinks of alcohol on my birthday on 18th March. I was not aware of the fact that I was pregnant. I am now too much scared. Can this affect my baby? Please help.

I had the same happen to me with my 1st I drank at a gathering and 2 weeks later I find out I'm pregnant. She's a healthy happy 2 yr old now. I wouldn't worry too much. I read somewhere Most pregnancies are unplanned and many of us drink not knowing we are pregnant.

My sister was (unknowingly) 4wks pregnant on her wedding day and she partied like crazy that night! She has a healthy and intelligent 17yr old with no health issues.
I believe it's more to do with prolonged drinking throughout the pregnancy that can lead to problems for bub.
Definitely check with your Dr if you're worried but to be honest a lot of women don't know they're pregnant so early on so I imagine there would be many in your shoes too - myself included. Best of luck :)

I had a bunch of drinks at my friends open bar wedding and I was like 2 or 3 weeks pregnant.  Im 27 weeks and 4 days today, and so far so good, baby girl seems ok!  As long as you didnt keep drinking after you found out you were pregnant, Im guessing youll be fine.  Talk to your OB about it at your next appointment, but I am sure it probably happens all the time!
