Anyone have a bad ultrasound experience?

This is my second pregnancy and I went in this morning for a 13 week neurotranslucency scan and it was the worst visit I've had. The lobby was full and it took awhile to go back which is fairly normal but when they took me back all the techs were just standing around talking. The lady who did my scan was so forceful trying to get measurements that it hurt and she didnt say anything or move the wand away when i repeatedly said ouch. She listened to the heart, took the measurements, and turned of the screen. We were back there maybe 10 mins and barely got to see the baby.

I've never been treated so roughly at an ultrasound before. Has anyone else had a bad experience?

Yes. This is my second child that I am currently pregnant with and we had a terrible experience as well. The tech wouldn't let us hear the heart beat and we finally said something about it and the way she was treating me and it seamed to upset her even more. She wasn't even going to let my husband see the screen.

That's horrible. I hope you get a different tech next time. If the lady was in a bad mood she should have had someone else do the scan. Ultrasounds are our only chance to see and hear the baby during the pregnancy. I think they should be a little kinder and let us have a chance to see how the baby is doing before they push us out of the room.
