Breech?

Has anyone had a baby breech? I'm 32 weeks and they are doing an ultrasound every week from here on out. And my baby is breech. Any advice?

I'm 33 weeks tomorrow and was told last week my baby is breech too. Midwife didn't seem concerned unless she hasn't turned by 36 weeks. I really don't want a c-section though and am lay awake worrying at night that she's not going to turn :( been Googling some exercises and am going to start trying them tomorrow in the hope they work. Hope your baby turns too!

Hi, I did with my first. She never turned and i had a successful vaginal breech birth. She was Frank breech and was in that position through my whole pregnancy. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. We opted not to try manual methods to turn her, so can't comment on those sorry. There are some great resources out there but a lot depends on the confidence of those around you as obstetricians are often pretty keen on a c-section.

Frozen veggies! Worked with my first. Of course she may have just decided it was time to turn but a bag of frozen corn can be pretty persuasive:) Breech is not as scary as it used to be. Depending on the doctor and pregnancy you can vaginally deliver a breech baby fine. Of course, head first is easier :) good luck!

My 1st was breech but once labour started at 40weeks 6days she turned to the right position. Research spinning babies on Google.  I think it helped me as I was doing the exercises once I turned 37 weeks.

My oldest was breech until 36 weeks. Try to put any ice pack on the top of your tummy. Old wives tale says that it works. I went in to get her turned and she turned by herself. It hurt for me. Most times you can have a successful birth
