So don't leave any ride remarks I'm just asking.  I love u. Georgia and I'm almost 32 weeks. I smoke marijuana daily but i am quitting. If I quit now should my baby and me be clean by December 19.. That's 2 months from now... Will I be ok when it comes to dfcs taking my bAby due to a negative test. I mean she should be clean by my EDD right? I know I shouldn't have been smoking and I regret it but I'm quitting now and just don't wana worry about losing my baby.. I know I shoulda thought about that... But I just need to know. Any moms recently deliver a baby in georgia that smoked... Was everything ok..when did u quit.. And was ur baby's system clean

You shouldn't be smoking weed in pregnancy.  We're stays in your system and hair for at least 3 to 4 months. U can get with drawel and also pariona.don't get pregnant if your gona smoke weed. You should think more for your baby. I'm not trying to me nasty I'm from Ireland and I have smoked weed myself in the past but never during pregnancy I wouldn't hurt my baby like that. If u did that here in Ireland the baby would be taken into care. And the socail worker would be involved before u even had the baby. I'm sorry I just think what your doing is really selfish. You should consider an n.a. meeting. That's what I did. I no it's not easy to stop but I did I went to n.a. and wouldn't harm my baby like that. Good luck

It is proven that weed does not harm a unborn child look up it!  Like i said before that were you live. I can see if she was shoting up while pregnant or smoking crack . but shes smoking weed! Like come on in colorado there is a group with women who are pregnant and smoke weed!! If its so awful i dont think that they would be giving it to pregnant women!!! Or even selling it in dispensaries!!! So dont be coming here with negative comments!!! Dont be putting anymore one down there.

mommyof i personally know a girl that smoked weed her whole pregnancy and her baby came out with dependency and a multitude of other problems weezing and then some, its just not wise to put things like that in your body during pregnancy if its not necessary, and i say this in the nicest way possible, so not only you put your child at risk but you have the added stress of cps being on your butt agin not being rude just real

And like i said before my sister smoke with both her pregnancies! And my nephew and nice are heatly as can be. I know plenty of women who smoke there whole pregnancy and nothing happened to there babies you have your own opinion but i know that weed does not come no harm

im glad they came out ok but what im saying its not the case for all dont be fool it can harm your unborn child you guys and others are the lucky ones  if it wasnt a problem cps wouldn't bother anyone about it

If you smoke after 18 weeks it shows up. But like many others have said there is no harm in it a few mums start smoking it to help with morning sickness as it's s natural alternative to medication. The only harm being is if you smoke it with tobacco. My sister smoked all through both her pregnancies and her kids are healthy and I used to tease her saying her kids would be born with extra arms (they wasn't:) x

Don't really have any advice as I haven't smoked whilst pregnant but it's good that you want to stop. We are all trying our best, don't let the negativity get you down. Good luck x

You should be fine and even if they do find marijuana in baby's system they usually won't take baby away. You could get a warning and possibly a visit by cps. I don't know how strict your cps system is, but you should be ok quitting now. Good luck.

I heard once you have the baby they can do a swab of the umbilical cord and that goes all the way back to 20 weeks but idk if that is true but i think you should be just fine it is said that marijuana has no effect on developing fetuses

All pregnancies are different. In the state of Philly if there is any type of drug dhs is in your butt, I smoke pot, I love smoking pot, but I will not smoke with my pregnancies, but it should be out of your and the baby system if you stop now...

I am currently on methadone maintenance because I was on suboxone when I found out I was pregnant and they didnt want me to get sick. I intend on coming off immediatly because I hate it. Dcf opens a case regardless of what substance is in your system but as long as you pass drug tests for a month and have a reliable place to live and keep your baby healthy they will close it immediatly.

I think you will be okay they normally only test the baby if they suspect something or the baby comes out sick or detoxing and you don't detox off of weed so I think you or okay drink pickle juice and water pickle juice will cleanse your system super fast ..

Drink lots and lots of water everyday and it will help clean up too

In Colorado they take the babies 1st poop diaper. It has every drug youve done since your baby was first conceived. If youve been smoking this whole time you might as well continue smoking. Youre gonna get a visit from social services regardless.

I smoked with my daughter but quit at 27 weeks. She's brilliant. I heard most places don't test unless there is suspicion, but I'm in PA. I'm 36 weeks with another and just quit so I'm hoping they don't test because I don't think it'll be out of my system in time.

Im 36 weeks and smoke my whole pregnancy i just lost my mother to breast cancer so thats the only think that helped me calm down. My sister smoked threw her whole pregnancy with my nephew and nothing happened. I live in santa fe nm there not strict with weed. There more worried about other hard drugs. Youll be fine i did quit when i was 32 weeks n its out of my system

I'm from NM also. My sister smoked weed through hers and the baby never tested positive. They aren't looking for pot.  They are looking for narcotics and things. Something the baby will withdraw from once out of the womb. I smoke to and am 6.5 weeks and can't see how a natural substance like weed can be harmful. My niece is brilliant... So it obviously didn't hurt her!

Thanks. I'm not gonna lie I tried to stop at 30 weeks but i didn't..now I'm so close to time I know its not an option. I read a lot about marijuana use wen pregnant and haven't found anything negative that happens.. Otherwise I would have been quit.. But I'm for sure done now.. I don't wana lose my baby girl she way to important to me!
