Ecitalopram and pregnancy
Hi all I just found out Im pregnant. About 6 weeks. And I have been on the generic form of lexapro for anxiety and depression. My doctor made me get off of it 2 years ago with my last pregnancy and now i know once I tell him I am pregnant again it'll be the same response from him that I need to get off of my pill. Even though I will be a mesa without it. Any ladies on here on lexapro /escitalopram and pregnant?
I had the same problem with withdrawal symptoms when I had to get off lexapro the last time I was pregnant! It was awful! I felt like my head would shake and had a ringing in my ear. Eventually it wore off but I had to deal with my depression and anxiety all over again.
I was on Cymbalta before pregnancy then had to get off of it. It was the worse feeling every because I had all the crazy withdraw symptoms. It sucked but I ended up being okay after a few weeks.
