I was induced at 39 weeks because gd i got to the hospital at 5:15am they checked my cervix and i was 2cm dilated so they started me on pitosin at 6am by 11 am i was 4cm dilated my water broke byitself around 1pm and i could not handle the pain after that and i asked for an epidural when i was 4.5cm dilated. After i got the epidural i feel a lot better i was fully dilated at 6pm but my baby has not droped so they sit me and see if gravety helps at 7:40 my baby was still high my nurse told me to try to push i pushed and she told me to stop and runned to get everybody in the room at 7:45 i started to push again i did 3 pushes and my baby boy was here at 7:49 a healthy 7.12onz

I was induced at 41 weeks. I went into the hospital at 7 AM. I had the vaginal gel for my cervix (so sorry! No help with the bulb!) I was not progressing very quick until they broke my water. That is when I really started to feel powerful contractions.  To everyone their own, but I got drugs after contraction number 4. I finally started to push at about 11 PM that day. My little guy was too big to fit through my space so after an hour of pushing with no progress,  I was wheeled into c section at midnight and my 9lb 9 oz boy was born at 12:13 AM. Hopefully that gave some help for what you wanted. :)

I want to know this too but no one will answer! I am going to be having a bit of a different induction though. Most people get their cervix ripened by either a gel or vaginal tablet. I am going to try the Foley bulb first as more natural way of inducing. Not many people get the Foley bulbs anymore so I can't get any info! Kinda *****.
