I'm having a boy, 38wks. I have had the worst acne and breakouts I have ever had in my life!  I didn't even get any pimples as a teenager and now at 30 I look like om 15. My hair and nails though are growing like weeds!!

When I was pregnant with my daughter my hair and skin never looked better. This time around with my boy my hair was dull, felt like straw and falls out like crazy. Also my skin is dry and oily and I have acne like I am 15 again uggg

Same here 36 weeks with my baby girl and my hair falls out like crazy and my skin is so dry! My mom also told me it was because I'm having a girl and she is taking all of my beauty so hopefully afterwards it goes back to normal

Dry skin means you need more water.

Prenatals is a good start. If u read the label it doesn't give u all the nutrients your body needs. The baby is taking ur nutrients. Try a hair supplement like biotin.  Also eat more fruits and veggies. Spinach will harden your nails and make ur hair shinny. Eat 3-6 cups a dat.

I fully believe that myth about girls. My hair sheds and sheds now and I've been doing my usual routine! And my skin just peels and random black heads have started appearing which is out of the norm for me. And im 31 wks and it just seems to be getting worse.

Im on the same boat. They said that pregnancy will make you look blooming and that your hair will be at its best like looking shinny and growing fast. Well i beg to disagree. I seldom have pimples and never had dry skin but when i got pregnant i started to experience having dry skin and pimples are everywhere! Oh did i mention my hair? I think im going to be bald in no time because of shedding.
