the shots are the only reason my son stayed in long enough to survive. My previous pregnancies ended with early labor pre-viability. We were doing the shots at home and didn't have a full dose left in the vial. I started early labor they gave me a full shot at the hospital and labor stopped. Got a new vial and were able to finish the shots.

You go to your doctor's office once a week and get a shot I get them in the lower part of my back kinda by my hip bone they like you to go on the same day every week and you start the shots at about 16 weeks and go until 36 weeks I think it's a good thing to do it I'm glad I didn't say no its kinda nerve racking when you start out cause at 16 weeks you don't feel the baby move that much at that time but if your doctor didn't think your body would handle the shot he/she wouldn't recommend it to you just really trust your doctor it's really helpful I had my son at 30 weeks so I was super early and I've made it to 33 weeks so I think it's working definatly get a second opinion about it if your that unsure it wouldn't hurt the latest you can start the shot is at 22 or 24 weeks I'm not 100 percent sure but if you get the second opinion do it before you start them.
oo okay thank you it helped in a way for you to tell me because i finally found someone who is taking the shot and its a positive thing i will start since i am already 24 weeks

I am currently using it now I felt the same way so I stopped the shot until I went and got a second opinion from a specialist and they told me in all the years they have been using mckenna they have not had any issues with it what so ever and personally I think it's great and it's working and I stop them in a couple weeks
