High Blood Pressure

Hi guys, i was hospitalized last night because my pressure was way too high. They keep monitoring my pressure every hour & they have me on a 24hr urine collection (which ***** big time) Anyways im 36wks & 5 days and im terrified that they are going to want to induce my labor, the rn keeps telling me they're just waiting on my dr to call or show up and i just keep thinking the worse. Have any of yall been in the same situation? What was your outcome? Im really scared that they'll want to do an emergency c section on me. They had me sign all these consent forms, which made me really nervous. Can i just get you guys to pray for me and my baby, I'll appreciate it very much!

Thank you guys so much for all the prayers! Im getting induced anytime soon. Might have baby by tomorrow in the afternoon. Im so nervous and excited to finally meet my baby boy. Praying that he comes out healthy and keeping positive (:

I've done the same exact thing twice already. My first 24 hr urine (around 36 weeks) showed a little protein so they just monitored me and made sure if I experienced any other symptoms like headaches or vision changes that I came in right away. At my 39 weeks visit I had a lot more protein and my BP was still high so they had me do another 24 hr urine and now I am currently sitting at my Dr appt on my due date waiting to discuss possibly being induced due to the BP and protein. My Dr really didn't want me to go early if it wasn't necessary. Hopefully everything works out just as well for you!

Prayers going out for you and your baby. I know it can be difficult, but try to stay calm, if possible pray, meditate, use yoga breathing techniques, listen to deepak chopra on pandora or whoever you find soothing. Hope everything works out so you don't have to be induced.

It's OK With My First Child I Had High Pressure At A Reg Check Up The Kept Me Induced Me Which Was Not Any Pain Because They Keep You On Meds And Since I Was Having My First My Labor Was The Full 72Hours Active Labor 4Hours Praying For A Good Outcome
