How do I tell my parents I'm expecting?

this is my first time being pregnant & im 19. I'm the first one in my family to get pregnant so young. All my cousins had their babies at 30. I'm having a difficult time telling them that I'm pregnant. I'm 5 weeks and 5 days along, any advice in telling them??

I found out I was pregnant at 8 weeks. I'm 24 years old. Telling my parents was one of the hardest thing to do. I hid my pregnancy and finally told them at 17 weeks. I'm now 18 weeks, so basically a week ago. Lol. My mom said she already knew, she was just waiting for me to tell her myself. I really thought my parents were going to be so disappointed, but they're actually very accepting. I feel so relief now that they know. Now I can enjoy my pregnancy and walk around my house like no don't tell me to do anything,  I'm pregnant. Lol.

Don't be scared I was 18 a senior and got pregnant I didn't tell my mom I put the positive pregnancy test on the washer and when she went in she saw and was excited and we talked she told me she will always be there for me and my baby but stuff will change cause I will be a mother and it will be my responsibility to make sure he's tooken care of and im going to have to finish school on time but she helped with everything but she made sure I knew my baby came first right along with my education so don't be scared everything will work out:)

I'm 17 and what I did was I bought a little baby bottle and some little hand knitted gloves for baby, I put them in a gift bag and took them to my parents. Also it was a day after father's day. They were a little upset but it was a cute idea (: or you can wait until your first appointment or first u/s and give them the picture.

I'm 19 and just told my mom and step dad yesterday. They were really happy. And all they could say was they didn't know what the wanted to be called. I'm four weeks and two days. But I also told them I didn't want the rest of the family to know til I was three months. And they understood. Congratulations!

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago. 19 and I had to tell my dad at some point. When I went to my 12 week appointment I recorded the heartbeat on the doppler and sent it to my dad. Made it more "real" to him. Rather then just saying oh hey I'm pregnant.

The sooner you tell them the better. I was nervous telling my family about my pregnancy but thankfully it went nothing how I expected! I wasted more time being stressed and worried than actually enjoying the first few weeks of my pregnancy  (I was around 12 weeks or so when I told everyone). Literally my WHILE FAMILY cried and cheered with joy, and immediately started showing for baby lol. So even though it feels scary now, I b promise it'll feel like such a relief once u do make your announcement. You never know, u may be like I was and worrying yourself for no reason at all :-) Best of luck to you!
