I hate drinking water!

This is my second pregnancy.  My 1st pregnancy i drunk alot of water. I found myself carring packs of water up the stairs all to time to the point where my husband just installed a water filter to the faucet. I am not 18 weeks pregnant and I've maybe drunk 5 cups in these 18 weeks. I feel so bad! Is water really that important? Will my baby be okay? I drink juice and sometimes I crave for soda. Ugh

Another little trick that seems to help (although sounds silly) is to drink water in a cup with ice and a STRAW. These 2 things make a huge difference for some reason! I like to get an iced green tea with lemon from dunking donuts, and once I am done drinking that I keep filling it up with water. Of i run out of ice I will add more. For some reason I drink way more if I have that cup with the straw. I know othera have agreed with me on this too. It's definitely worth the try!

I added a squeeze of lemon to every cup last pregnancy as for some reason I could not stand the taste of water! Did wear away my teeth a little, but yeah drinking water is pretty important!

Try fusing your water with fruit...sometimes that helps me. You can cut up strawberries lemons cucumbers or oranges...whatever you like and put it in a gallon of water and keep it in the fridge. Good luck!

I struggle to drink water as well but I have found that drinking milk and chewing/sucking on ice increases my water intake. I can chew on a 32oz cup of ice but could never drink that in a day. My OBGYN also recommended just sipping on water throughout the day. He said, no gulping or drinking alot if it's a struggle. A few sips adds up over the day.

Hi maybe they just got a bad angle the baby is very tiny then. I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and again at 6 because they couldn't find baby's heartbeat and baby was just a tiny little ball. Maybe your not as far along as you/they think

I had my first ultrasound yesterday at 7w 3 days and they couldn't see the baby.  The sac was empty.  She said it may be because I'm not quite 7 weeks or the baby should appear in the next couple of weeks.  Has this happen to anyone? Did u have a healthy pregnancy?

I chew on ice because I just don't drink water, I'm never thirsty. I use to be able to go a whole day without drinking anything and not even think about it. It's weird. So ice is my go to.

DRINK TKNS OF WATER!!!! I can not stress that enough.  I know the taste is boring but maybe u can add some flavor powder or drops to it,  but it is essential not only to baby but to your body be a use your body goes through a lot in the process software making babies.  I drink tons of water but I live in Arizona where with 115-120 degrees put right now and twice throughout my pregnancy I have gotten dehydrated and passed out and ended up at the er.  Don't chance it!

I hated water this time around also so i drank a bunch of vitamin water. If it had a little flavor i would drink it but regular water was hard. I dont know why but i just couldnt do it. Im now 38.2 weeks and baby is fine. I say stay away from the high calorie stuff if you dont want to gain a bunch of weight. But your baby needs the water.

Water is very important for you and the baby. But maybe try drinking more milk! Or get the favor add ins for your water so it doesn't taste as terrible! I read somewhere that drinking to much juice when pregnant isn't good.
