Insurance

I have kaiser insurance I have the insurance by my mom I plan on getting married next month in August will me getting married cause me to lose my insurance?

They do have a website with information for adult children that clears stuff up pretty well. It's nice change to be able to stay on your parents insurance even if you are married and pregnant if you're still young. I'm sorry the same opportunity wasn't available for you. :(

Yean obamacare has changed a lot of things.  I could have stayed on my dads until 26 till I got pregnant. But the rules have changed so much its hard to know what will and will not be covered

Garlin, you got dropped because Obamacare hadn't gone into place. The OP will be able to stay on her parents insurance till 26, pregnancy stuff will be covered, but her baby cannot be on its grandparents policy.

Yes u will lose your insurance but u might check ur moms policy on pregancy unless u already know they are paying. I was on my dads insurance when I got pregnant the first time amd they dropped me bc pregancy made me an adult. Now that was seven years ago but it did happen to me

Yes you will lose your insurance because you will no longer be a dependent under your mom, youll be Seen by the the state as a dependent under your husband
