My father ruined my credit he took a card out in my name without me knowing so all bills are paid ASAP. so before I went in for the testing they said they had needed to be paid in full so I used my collage fund that I had been saving up for the last 3 years which now is the baby fund
I'm not sure it's a good idea to ignore a bill. Eventually your credit will be ruined and the doctor won't see you again.
Really, "everyone else" doesn't throw away their bills - if they get picked up by medicaid that's great, but just ignoring bills and hoping for the best will ruin your life - including possible criminal charges of "theft of service".
I'm sorry that has be luxury pay that off at once.I would let that bill sit there on table or throwed in trash like everyone else.Medicaid approved me in week.I was with them before though.Any bills go unpaid once you get approve by insurance they will pay them. That 650.00 could still been in your pocket.
Yeah try Medicaid if you're pregnant they won't deny you! Call them and tell them you are at high risk it should make things move faster!
I will try Medicaid today thank you right now it's 3:17am where I am so nothing is open but this is killing me my doctors appointment cost me $677 and I don't have the luxury of having that type of extra it was money I was going to spend on baby stuff ughhhh
Omg I'm going through the exact thing! Ive already missed my appointment :(. You should definitely call and let them know that you're high risk and you NEED to see a doctor, maybe they'll get you insurance faster. Good luck
Have you tryed Medicaid? They shouldn't had cancelled your insurance like that
I would definetly call and talk to someone over the phone - emails are so easy to ignore, or be put off on answering.
Hardly makes sense that you're making too much money for them... They should have called you to discuss what was happening.
I don't have any experience with America. insurance, mind you. But I swear our health system in Canada isn't any better :( (Like deciding I don't exist after living in the same province for 30 years!)
