Yep. We couldn't hear the heartbeat at 11 weeks. The doctor had to bring in a handheld ultrasound, so we ended up being able to see the heartbeat instead. Everything was fine and it was beating good.  :)

Yeh it's true as I was told untill that point baby's  heart hasn't fully developed untill after 7 weeks mark but it can be hard to detect at 7 weeks that's why they get you to wait till after the 8 week mark as it can always be seen at 8 weeks.
There is nothing to worry about trust me your go back for anather scan and baby will have a strong heart beat and your be a proud mumma.

I had an ultrasound done at 6 weeks and all though we could not hear the heart beat you could see it. When it first starts it's so light it can't really be picked up.
