Is this pressure normal.??

I'm 18 weeks on second child and I have an extreme amount of pressure near my pelvis. I asked my doctor about it but he said it was normal for a second child, but nobody I know has had this issue. I have occasional sharp pains and the pressure builds up so much at times that I can't stand up straight and have to crouch and waddle to get around... Anyone have this problem.? I havent found out the gender yet so could it be from baby being so low because of it being a boy.? Did not have this problem with my daughter. Just didn't expect so much pain this early in my pregnancy. Opinions.?

I was dealing with the same thing when I was pregnant with my second son,  the doctor told me it was perfectly normal and if I had discomfort while sleeping to put a pillow between my legs and that's exactly what I did for the rest of my pregnancy and it worked amazing.  Now that I am on my third pregnancy it's happening again already and it feels like this baby is sitting very very low to the point I feel it in my hips and lower back.

After my first pregnancy, I did with all my pregnancies (4total) it was an issue with my pelvic bones, they only thing that has helped me is chiropractic care; I get adjusted every 2-3 weeks after I reach 18-20 weeks to aliviate the pain. Hope this helps

I had those problem carrying my first child i know all your pain the methods i used that helped the most were taking warm baths alot and sleeping with pillows between my legs at night or anytime i layed down. Also peeing as much as possible to keep more pressure off down there

It's the hormone relaxin being a little zealous lol it helps loosen up your pelvis and other bones and cartlidge to ease birth. My doctor says it's more common to have these pains in your second + pregnancies

I did with my second and she was fairly high. There are support stockings that are sold that are supposed to help. I never used them but I know a few women who have that said they helped.

Its also my 2nd pregnancy but this time it's a girl. Im 24weeks 4 days and I have felt that pressure since around 15weeks. My Dr said it's the head down position when I asked why I'm having so much pain and pressure. It's really uncomfortable yes and you need to crouch a bit before I'm amazed because I never felt one ache or pain with my previous pregnancy.

I've had lots of pressure in my pelvic area since about 18wks, it worried me because I didn't have it with my first and sometimes I can barely keep upright when walking. My Dr told me it's quite normal for subsequent pregnancies (this is my 2nd) to carry really low - regardless of sex (I'm having another girl). Sometimes I even feel like her head is grinding around on my pubic bones or something!! I'm 30wks now and it hasn't eased at all, in fact I can now feel the pressure and grinding down low plus kicks just under my breasts when sitting down cause she's getting bigger. So I guess the only thing that will bring relief is birth :(
