Johnson's Baby soap

Does it matter what type of Johnson's baby soap you use on your baby boy? I went to the store and bought some Vanilla oatmeal soap for my baby boy but the father of my baby told me that the smell is for a girl. Is this true?

hes a baby it really doesnt matter they are not going to make manly smells for tiny babies plus you want him to smell good because if anyone holds him they will be like awe you smell sweet. but for nb since they still have their cords they make wash cloths johnson and johnson brand that you get wet and it will get soapy and they are so much easier to use

Considering how small they are I don't really think it matters which scent you use I use the lavender or honey apple on my son and he is 4 with children it doesn't really matter until they get to school age. So I think your fine
