*Just for fun* How far along were you when you started dialating?

I'm just curious when everyone started dialating? Once you started, how fast did the rest of it go? If you have multiples, did you start earlier or go quicker than with your first?

With my last one i was not dilated at all, when my water broke. After i got to the hospital, I was in labor for 16.5 hours.

I was 1 cm for a week when I went to my ob for 38 week checkup. I was submitted that night with contractions 2mins apart. I was in labor for about 26 hours because I wasn't dilating. Had to have the water manually broken and given a peanut ball before I fully dilated.

A peanut ball as in food? I'm sorry, but I'm genuinely curious.
No it's like an exercise ball but shaped like a peanut. It goes between your knees while laying down. I don't know how it works but it does.

With my daughter I started dialating at 34 weeks. I was induced at 39+1 but was at a 3 before it started. My labor was 7.5 hours. This time I have not started dilating yet, but I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow so it's still early. I'm planning on going fully natural this time! :)

I was 1cm from 38 weeks until the day I was induced (39.6) after 17 hours I had only gotten to 3cm and then had a cesarean
