Veet is really good to. It's like nair. Leave it on 10 min and rinse off and powwww.. You're bald lol

They don't shave anymore because they found it increases risks of infection (nicks and whatnot). Pubic hair actually acts as a sort of barrier to keep things out of the vajayjay, so it's a sort if natural defense. However, it bugs me too! I just found out I'm pregnant with our third child and the first thing I asked DH was "You ready to start shaving down there for me, and to paint some toes?" Lol

Not sure about if they shave... but I strongly recommend waxing... my hair don't grow back for at least over a month... I've booked my next appointment 2 weeks before due date... good luck

Yea the Dr won't care what it looks like.  That same thing happened to me when I was full term with my first, I could not reach and I didn't just want to shave blindly and risk cutting myself.  It'll be all good.  No worries.

As far as I know dr dont shave. What u can do is if you dont have a spouse thats willing to do it or you don't trust to do it, use a mirror. Thats what I do! Lay it on top of the toilet of in the shower with ypu however it feels more comfortable that way ypu can still see! :)

I can't see either and a few weeks ago it was drivinge so crazy that I said forget it I'm doing this blind, took me about 20 mins because it was all by touch it took forever!! Afterwards I used a mirror to look and it was a little patchy but felt soooo much better! I wanted to get waxed but it's been so long since I've been waxed down there I figured it would hurt too bad. Good luck!

I've had 2 c sections and prior to surgery the doctor assistant always came in and shaved me. That was in 2005 and 2008 unless the rules have changed since then. I'll be having my 3rd c section in March.

They will shave bikini line for a c-section but not for a natural birth

I used nair one time. Oh my gosh!!! It burned and gave me a horrible rash. I only put it on top.

I've never heard of them shaving for vaginal birth.I couldn't imagine allowing that, I won't even let my husband shave me lol... I cant either.. I prop my legs up & squat while in the shower.. or shave while sitting on the toilet before my shower..

Well the top part is easy enough but underneath gets harder. I had laser hair removal back in 2004 or 05 and now that I'm pregnant it's definitely coming back!

Your post made me laugh! I can't see mine either. My fiancée asked me the other day when he seen it what happened? I said, what do you mean? He said, "it has balled patches?! Some parts are partially shaved and other parts are completely balled!" LOL! I tried!

The Dr doesn't care. Honestly I am shaving until I can't reach any more than I am not worrying about it. Nair isn't good if you have sensitive skin and waxing will be very painful (due to the extra blood flow down there) especially if you are not used to having it done. My suggestion, don't stress about it that is the least of the drs worried going in

I couldn't either but you know what they don't care and you don't care at all in the moment. I'm pregnant with twins this time so I have been getting waxed regularly because I know it won't be long before I can't reach!

No it doesn't, at least not for me. You don't put it on the vulva part lol if you're going to use it Id test it first to make sure your skin isn't going to be too sensitive for it. But Ive never had any burning or reaction to it. Leave it on a couple of minutes and wash it right off. I put it on right before I get into the shower, by the time Im done washing/conditioning my hair its ready to wash off.

they wont shave you. And even for a c section, they don't shave you well. I suggest getting someone to help you or go buy some Nair. I use Nair because my husband says shaving me is "too weird" lol The hair just washes right off, smooth as a babies butt. :)

They will shave your stomach and top part of the vagina before a c-section. I'm not sure how it works with vaginal births. If you have a boyfriend or spouse I would get him to assist with that at home before you go to the hospital if you're a little concerned about it. Good luck and congrats!
