I work at the top laser hair removal company in the uk and we don't treat anybody who is pregnant, it's not worth the risk, it can also cause pigmentation because of the hormones x rubbish I know because I was due to get mine but iv just found out in 5 weeks =)

I do not see any problem with this. To be extra cautious you should decline any numbing cream prior to your treatment. Laser hair removal works by a process called selective photothermolysis. That means that the laser light is used to heat up and selectively destroy the hair follicles on the skin. Certainly, the light spectrum can be absorbed by the hair follicles and also the skin. So, there's no chance that this can be absorbed into the bloodstream. On the side note, there are also various ways to get rid of unwanted hair ranging from home remedies which is inexpensive and do not have side-effects.

I got lasered in 2004 and my hair is definitely growing more since I'm pregnant. I'll be getting some touch ups after delivery!

I started the treatments before I got pregnant but had to stop until the baby is born. I guess your hormones go too crazy with hair growth while you're pregnant and the treatments don't work.
