Measuring small for dates?

Hello fellow mommies, I'd like to share my story with you and hear what you think.  
I thought that I was about 11 weeks pregnant.  I had a check up yesterday and my OB couldn't find the heart beat. When he did a pelvic exam he said that my utultrasound this Thursday atwas measuring at about 7-8 weeks.  He told my that I shouldn't worry. I have an ultrasound this Thursday at 7:15am.  
Your thoughts on this are very helpful.  Please feel free to comment.

That same thing happened to me girl!! Im due march 16. I was terrified and seeing that heartbeat was the happiest moment of my life :)

I had my ultrasound bright and early this morning.  The baby is doing great! Little one was extremely active during the scan. The heart rate is 172, I'm 9 weeks 3 days and I'm due March 10th!!

I think your doctor gave you some GREAT advice when he said NOT TO WORRY. It really could be any number of things that I can think of NONE of them detrimental IMO. Let me know how it turns out and best wishes to you and your growing baby

I know its hard but wait for the US try not to worry your self to much, I know its hard but there is no way to really tell until they get a good look inside. Good Luck!
