Really worried, what could this be?

Yesterday my doc checked me, only 1 cm and still high blah blah blah. Well after that I can home and layed down for the rest of the day. Hubby and I went out to dinner then out to a store to waste some time. Anyways. I felt absolutely horrible all evening, finally before bed I threw up a few times. I felt better. Kind of. Well now my back was throbbing in pain, but it's my upper back, the middle between my shoulder blades. It comes in waves and I feel nausea with each wave of pain. It makes it hard to breathe, but my belly isn't tightening or anything. It hurts so badly and it's so frequent and it's starting to scare me, what could this be?

Sure sounds like gallbladder pain given the nausea and pain between the shoulder blades. Not terribly uncommon during pregnancy. It's a textbook gallbladder description.  If the pain and nausea continue it could be worth a trip to the ER. I've taken care of many  pregnant women  who have had this. (I'm a surgical RN)

I had an abruption.  Was very scary but they will monitor you.  If you start bleeding, go to the hospital right away.

Im having alot of pain too but in my abdominal area. I went to the hospital and said it was placenta abruption, but since I am only 28 weeks they cant do anything. Its a wait and see kinda thing right now and I am really worried about the baby. I hope my little girl will be ok and come out healthy. Has anyone else had this before?

I had pain like that a few weeks ago, I was 31 weeks. When I went to the hospital they discovered I was having contractions. Time your pain.

Some women experience labor in their back. Since its coming in waves try timing it. Have you experienced any tightness at all in you stomach? How many weeks are you?

Well this just started last night along with vomiting. It comes in waves of pain and makes it hard to breathe or continue doing anything. With each wave I also feel the need to vomit more, idk how to explain it correctly but it's a very weird kind of pain

It sounds like third trimester back pain. I just woke up about an hour ago and it feels like someone beat me in the back with a sledge hammer. Towards the end we feel like we're falling apart loltake a nice shower or bath and just relax. That might help somewhat. As soon as baby comes out you'll start feeling better all around.
