Serious question..

I'll be 32 weeks wednesday. When do doctors start checking for dilation and  does it hurt?

my midwife  is gentle i guess...i mean it doesn't  feel good but it didn't hurt me. :)

Sometimes it hurts more than others depending on the nurse or dr checking and how much lube they use

I dont think it really hurts that bad i mean it does hurt but more so its uncomfortable... my dr started checking me @ 33 cause i was preterming but normaly they do it every week when 36... some drs dont check though and some check later, its not REALLY nessicary but i like to know lol im 38w n 1.5cm :) good luck to us all :)

I am 33 weeks and they have already checked me 2 times because I was having a lot of cramping.. it didn't hurt to me.. everybody is different though..

Some people tell me it don't. Depending on who your doctor is?

I started getting checked at 34 weeks cause my son dropped early. It hurts quite a lot. But it's all mind over matter!

My doctors will start checking me at 36 weeks.  Don't know how it feels!  FTM.   I'm nervous though!

Ohhh yes hunky it hurts like something fierce lol I can't even explain it. I was 37 weeks when my doc checked me for the first time. I am definitely not looking foward to it this pregnancy lol
