Stripped membrane ?

Im 38 weeks 39 in 2 days .. today i had an appointment which i was told i am 2cm my ob also stripped my membrane .. has anyone had this done ? If so did it put you into labor

Had mine stripped at 39 weeks and gave birth 5 days overdue ..

It didn't work for me, I had mine done at 38 weeks and gave birth 3 days overdue.

When you guys got stripped did you bleed ? If so how long?

I had my membranes stripped at 38 weeks, and it didn't do anything. So she stripped them again at 39 weeks and had my daughter that night.

I had an internal at 39 + 1 and went into labour at 3am the following morning. I don't even believe the midwife stripped my membrane so I think any activity down there can help get things moving. Best of luck :)

I had this done at 40 weeks 5 days. I went into labor 5 hours later.

It put me in labor like 6 hours later

I had this done and my water broke a weak later my water broke on its own. Idk if it was because of that.
