Supplementing income after baby?

Okay moms. My son is due in about a month. I'm concerned on how to supplement my income while I can't work. I don't think that my husband's income will be enough on its own.

I'm hoping for some advice, or what you did, or worked for you.

I'm feeling very worried and stressed about it.

first of all don't stress! everything will be ok for all you ladies! :) there are so many organizations that'll help!just Google what's in your area! I used wic with my son and they were very very helpful! also ask family and friends! that's what they're for! I know here in Nebraska there are agencies that'll help provide you with all the necessities you will need! good luck to all of you!

I'm right with u. I'm due in 2 months. I know I can work about another month in a half or untill about a week or 2 before the delivery.. But right now we live in a hotel room. We Borg get payee biweekly i pay for the room 2 weeks a month and he does 2 weeks a month.. I do T know what we are going to do when i go on maternity leave. We are not ready for my baby girl a arrival I only have a few bottles and mabey 2 or 3 outfits.no diapers or crib or anything... I'm nervous... I dont know what we r going to do. If we dont have an apartment before maternity leave I don't even think we will have anywhere to stay.... I pray we make it before she arrives.

Are you in the states? I don't know how you feel about this but you can go to DSS and tell them your situation. A client of mine managed to get a three bedroom apartment all paid for, including support for the children through WIC
