When do you go into ur 3rd trimester this app is tellin me wen im 26 weeks n other ppl r tellin me wen im 28 weeks...

My dr had told me 26 weeks n 5 days u go into the third trimester

Just use what works for you, different  sites and different books have different information and as with this post you are going to get different opinions. My doctor on speaks in terms of weeks and days. The best person for you to ask about when your  third trimester is your doctor. My doctor marks 27 weeks as the beginning of the third trimester. Baby2see is one of the worst sites for pregnancy information. If you are going to follow a site make sure it all the information adds up.

It really depends on what you read. I prefer to use what Doctors/hospitals use as different websites use different structures. I'm in the UK so I go off our NHS guidance which is:
1st trimester - 0-12wks
2nd trimester - 13-26wks
3rd trimester - 27-41wks

Also, pregnancy is 10months in lunar months only. This is because a lunar month is 4wks long exactly. Pregnancy is 9 calendar months. As PPs have said there's only one month that contains 4wks, every other month has 4wks + 2 or 3 days, so it's averaged out. Hope this helps :)

Also it is 9 months because they count ur pregnancy from the first day of ur last period so u are actually not pregnant then cos u don't ovulate till halfway through ur cycle

Pregnancy is nine months because some months have 5 weeks in it! Just because its forty weeks doesn't mean a thing. Not every month the has four weeks in it

Love how that trimester calculator says 40 weeks is 9 months... and not 10. Pregnancy is NOT nine months
