Who comes with you to your appointments?

I'm 38 weeks and will start getting checked for labor signs at this upcoming appointment. The appointments prior they measured my stomach, heard heartbeat, pee in cup and I left. So I never asked my man to come. He just came to ultrasound appointments, which he enjoyed.

How are these final appointments different? Who did you bring with you, if anyone?

My husband comes to the more important appointments but just normal 2 weekly appts I go alone. I like to just go and get it over with, nothing really happens at them so he doesn't really need to be there. I won't be getting any cervical checks or anything like that, so I won't be kept in. I did get checked last time but still went alone. It's totally up to you whether you want someone there or not :)

I feel weird now haha, my husband and mother-in-law have gone to every appointment with me since my first baby, this is the 2nd one...except for one this last appointment, then it was just my husband and son. I guess we are just super close. When they started checking my cervix my mother-in-law would wait outside, that's how we will do it when it comes to that point later on, and she will watch my son during then too. He's only two so he doesn't understand sitting still. I'm 25 weeks, nearly 26.

My daughter came with me to almost all my appointments, she's 6. My husband only came to two of them my whole pregnancy since he works 2nd shift. He always drops he off at school since I work at 7am and I pick her up, so right after I get her we would go to my appointments. She is such a good helper. The ob would let her put the jelly on my belly to hear the baby's heart rate and she would read the measurements when they measured my belly.  So cute and then when they would check my cervix she would stand behind the chair I was laying in or off to the side.

I'm single because of the father choosing not to be in his child's life. I don't ask anyone to go with me to my appointments I just go alone. My mom sometimes drives me but never goes to the back with me. My daughter was going before school started and got to go to both my ultra sounds but that stopped at 20 weeks.

My husband goes to every appointment with me. He feels it is our appointment and wants to know what is going on. He loves to be proactive I guess. We get an ultrasound done at every appointment so that may be the reason why.

I go to my appointments alone, I'm low risk so appointments are uneventful.

I can't drive so I have someone bring me to my appointment. Im 35 weeks and since I was 32 weeks I've gone into the doctor once a week and have a nonstress test done for 30 minutes. They also feel my stomach to see what position my son is in. I pee in a cup at every visit anyway but lately and I'm not sure why but I pee in a cup when I get there and then again before I leave. They also take my sugar log measure my stomach and check my thyroid in my neck and check the swelling in my feet.
