advice or thoughts

Hi everyone .
I need some advice, but please don't judge me or be rude. I am 19years old i have been with my boyfriend/babydaddy for 5 almost 6 years . We have a three year old about to be four in 3 months . I know i am still young and so is my son but for the last 4 months I have for some awkward reason been wanting a baby . I know i must be crazy right ? But for some reason i really want this baby , i have like this feeling inside that i need a baby .  Sometimes i feel jealous that my son is always with his dad and im just alone . Maybe that's why ? What do you guys think ?

I was also a teen mother and i know what you are saying!! I didn't have my second till i was 21 though, if you are responsible and can do it, and your ready then why not age isn't everything! I personally wish my kids were closer in age.

I am of the opinion that every women, regardless of age, should consider certain things when about to have a child.  I work in social services and see women and families every single day who are struggling and in crisis for financial reasons, or just feeling overwhelmed because they find themselves single parents, and it's really hard.  So I do not think your crazy, but I'll just give you the checklist I think every women should go through prior to making this so important decision.

Can you give your child(ren) a stable life?  This means financially and through a loving and caring home.  Some people think finances don't matter, but they do.  Can you afford to do this without social assistance (it pays so littlle, that is no life) or help from anyone outside dad.

Although lots of women raise kids on their own and do a great job, ideally a child has both parents and an intact family.  Is your relationship at the point where you think that can and will happen?

What is your plan for the future.  Have you completed your own educational goals?  Yes, college can be completed as a parent, but it sure is harder.

Just a few things to think about.  And I believe this applies to everyone, regardless of age.  Examine why you want another child, and if this is the right time in your life, as well as in your partners.  You know the answer to your question and only you and your partner know if this is the right time.

Whatever you decide, I wish you well.
