With my first, it took about 7 months because bread kept weight on me. Once i realized it, i dropped it quick. My sister took about 4 months or so. I just had my son Tuesday and I've already lost half the 30 pounds i gained. Bread again though, lol. I feel i need it. I have yo plan meals to not indulge.
Long story short, figure out what you eat that holds your weight and cut back with a slight workout about 4-6 weeks following the baby and you will be find.
Everyone is different. I was 145 when I got pregnant with my first (June 2011). By that September I was wearing my bikini. April 2013 I was 125 pregnant with my second. I got pregnant with my 3 September 2014 and I was 117. I nursed both of them I never exercised or crazy diets. I do have a pretty decent eating habit. But I don't deprive myself of tasty and occasionally not so great things lol.
I was one of the lucky ones and lost all 36 pounds in 2 months. And all I did was breastfeed! I have the feeling its going to take me a bit longer this time around though.
For me it took 4 years lol I had gotten back to my pre pregnancy weight after 4 years which took me getting a warehouse job and after getting the job it took 9 months to loose the weight and right after loosing 40lbs got pregnant again and gained all of it back :(
I never did lol...I got pregnant with number 2 when number 1 was 4 months and then pregnant with number 3 when number 2 was 8 months...now pregnant with numner 4
I just lost the weight from my first. She's 9. Then I got pregnant with my 3rd. Lol
It all just depends on your body. My siter gained 60 pounds with her first pregnancy and lost her weight in a few months after giving birth. Dont worry :) have a safe and blessed pregnancy <3
Oh, and I spoke with a nurse at one of my followup visits about how long it was taking. She told me I might never lose it. My mouth dropped open and I said--oh yes I will! Doc was much more encouraging and said to keep at it cuz it can take a while.
Just a few months for me but I have a really fast metabolism.
18 mos to lose 30 lbs the first time. I was really surprised by how long it took. I had never battled weight before. I had to really add activities to get rid of it. My diet was pretty consistent--lots of fruits/veggies, few processed foods.
