ahh they stitched you up? I figured they would use staples, less scarring :/ maybe when they take the stitched out you'll feel good enough :)

No idea. I'm a FTM so I've never had a c section. Never even had an IV or stitches before this lol

Oh how I miss coffee! Lol hopefully soon you won't need those pain killers and can give her the good stuff ;D how long does it usually take for people to feel good enough to not take them?

I'm bfding and my dr said the pain killers are fine as long as you take them as directed. I've taken them while bfding all my babies and they're fine.

@ vro definitely! Recovering from a c section is a 10 at first.....contractions from induction are off the chart! So much worse

Once im laid down it's ok. And my doctor told me it's fine to breastfeed on vicodin just not right after you take it. I was wanting to start pumping cause my milk us still in but I did some research and since it does get into the milk I won't be doing it

if your just laying in bed is the pain manageable enough that you can fall asleep or do you need pain meds to help?

Yeah i have had two sections so far and i do believe the contractions from the inductions were the worst part.

Hii :) Thought I might ask this quick question seeig as you posted about pain killers. I'm due in 19 days and want to try to breastfeed but was wonderig if it's ok to take painkillers if I do breast feed?

Walking is like a 4 but once I get moving I'm fine. It's just moving from sitting or laying down to standing that hurts really bad

Right after the section after the meds wore off and I tried walking for the first time it was a 10. Now getting out of bed is like a 8. Like I was in tears. I do have to say though....this has nothing on the contractions I had

I took one before bed and one when she woke up for a feeding and was fine. I kinda jumped out of bed though cause I thought she was choking it was just hiccups. I was amazed At how fast I could move though lol
