color your hair during pregnancy?

im in my first trimester, is it ok for me to box color my hair? everyone keeps telling me yes but i just want to be completely sure.

I asked the same question and was instricted by my doctor as master stylists to wait until at least the second trimester.  Some dyes have chemicals that can crosa over to baby...but itnis very rare. I wouldn't take the chance. They also recommended oil bases like redken chromatics or the olia color since there is no ammonia in them. Bhope this helps!

Nothing wrong with getting your hair done. And your hormones have nothing to do with that. Lol they won't change your hair a different color. That's funny!!!

Just keep in mind that your hormones may make the color turn out different than you expect.

I just got my hair done actually yesterday and we we're chatting about that.  They recommend not to in the first few months
