contractions

Do contractions make the whole stomach hard or just the lower part around the uterus? I'm not completely sure if I'm having contractions or not

My stomach never tightened with my first when I started having contractions, just felt lime really bad cramps. The only reason I absolutely knew what they were was because they were like clockwork as far as how far apart they were and how ling they lasted. I also never had bh so I don't even know what those feel like.

Sounds like it's time for you to go to the hospital! My first son was born the next day after seeing the mucus plug

Earlier i had a spot of blood the size of a nickel. Then some mucus plug and then i think some of my bloody show. Right now I'm having constant back pain with random sharp pains in my stomach

Could be contractions. Are they consistent? Have you started timing them? If they are consistent call l&d and they will tell you when to come in!!

Contractions make your stomach hard but with pain like menstrual cramps. Could be braxton Hicks which makes your stomach tight but no pain. How far along are you?
