diaper rash help

So, I have a little girl who is almost 8 months and she STAYS with a diaper rash. She has had the same one for well over a month now and we have done EVERYTHING. She's been to the pediatrician twice, we change her diaper every single time it's dirty, we've used Boudreauxs regular and maximum strength butt paste and we've used desitin. We've also used Johnson's baby powder AND Caldesene powder in the pink and blue bottles. We've cut her fruits from two whole containers a day to maybe one a day. I hate it. She loves her fruit and we have had to limit it. Her little bum is bleeding and blistered and it's beat red and she cries every time we change her diaper. Please help!!!

Oh, and yes she is teething. I've been told that's probably what it's from

The caldesene powder we use has zinc oxide, cornstarch, aloe Vera, and chamomile in it for soothing. And we switched from huggies to pampers diapers and wipes because buggies was irritating her. May try aquaphor next. I promise I've tried so many of these suggestions. This is just the worst diaper rash. So stubborn. Definitely gonna lay out some towels and let her hang out naked for a bot too, and I may try just the regular cornstarch by itself. Everything I use is unscented

My daughter had same problem, I felt terrible. We used Destin with the zinc max syrength. Would mix cornstarch in with it sometimes or use cornstarch by itsself, but cover face when you apply just cornstarch so she doesn't inhale any. We also changed diapers. Huggies is the only brand that has no perfume!

My friend puts Vaseline on her baby and she's only had one diaper rash and she's almost 2 now. It will keep the diaper from rubber her too. Maybe switch to non scented diapers and wipes and maybe use the corn starch. I'm sorry your having to go through this with your little one.! I hope it gets better.!

My niece was the same way. Turned out that she was allergic to the wipes my sister was using. The doctor recommended adding a little bit of Epsom salt to her bath and use homemade wipes.

Aaww I had the same problem with my daughter where even tho we changed her constantly she wud have diaper rash! I wud recommend washing her bum with water instead of using baby wipes cuz baby wipes would just irritate the rash evenmore and sting her, poor baby... :( my gp doctor recomended we let her bum air for a while during the day. Like when uve just washed her bum u could let her be diaper free for a while.

Many babies are allergic to the chemicals used in disposable diapers, causing those blistering and bleeding rashes. Have you considered switching to cloth? It's a huge money saver in the long run and even though it is a little more time consuming it's really very simple with all the new options available these days (it isn't pins and plastic pants anymore!), helps immensely with reducing the occurrence of rashes, and also helps kids to potty train at a younger age.

Try letting your baby's bum air out for a while. Go diaper free at home! You may have some per to clean or catch but it will be worth it

Could be thrush? My first had it and needed a steroid cream to clear it up..might not that either could be anything but if shes had that long id get it checked by a doctor...have you tried aloe vera? Its worth buying an aloe vera plant its absolutely brilliant for nappy rashes and other things too

Is it thrush? The other thing I found my children had bad nappy rash like that when they were teething.

Have they concidered it a yeast rash? It sounds likeonewith blistering and bleeding. It's pretty common especially if she were on antibiotics.
If it's not try coconut oil or if your still breast feeding breast milk does wonders for every ailment.

Is it possible thst shes allergic to the diapers ur using or the powder u are using?? If not i use something called Aquaphor. You can purchase it at walmart for a few bucks and apply it to her rash every diaper change. It may be less harsh on her and helped my sons rash clear up very quickly.
