epidural back pain?

First off, let me say, i loved getting my epidural.  Wondering if anyone else had really bad back pain, and feeling weak after they had one? How long will it last? Im 48 hours out and its painful and weak..

I had a csection with no labor involved and the spinal did cause my back to have pain. It's not so much my whole back it's the area where the spinal was done. It was tender and hurt for a few weeks. That's how I am referring to "back pain"..

I'm a ftm 35 weeks sunday. & from what i would hear people would say the epidural gave them back problems so that was my reasoning of not wanting to get one when i go into labor, but i just looked it up and it says pretty much that its not caused by the epidural just giving birth, it was equal for girls that did and didnt get an epidural and that had back pain after labor.

scientifically it's shown that unless the epidural was done wrong (most likely never is) that it doesn't cause back pain. giving birth is what causes the back pain .

I had one a week ago tomorrow and I have had no back problems. I agree with hersheyma. I specifically asked the anesthesiologist about back pain from the epidural and she said that its not true.

I had a spinal done with my csection. My back hurts for a few weeks with the first week being bad. I can't remember how long until it completely went away but it finally did.

I had my son back in 2012. He is 2 1/2 and my back still hurts. If I lay on my back I get catches right by my tail bone and feel like I can't get up. I absolutely hate the fact that I got it because I was in labor for 36 hours and it wore off the day I gave birth. Here I am almost 30 weeks and I am trying to keep my mind set to not getting it!!!

My epidural was 8 years ago and I still get horrible back pain and migraines.  I've decided to go completely natural with this child.
