Did anyone have to do the three hour test? Did yours come back okay or did it come back high again? If it came back high what did you have to do, and will the baby and I be okay?

Sometimes they come out positive because u probably had something sweet to eat the night before sugar takes a little while to get out of your system

What I don't understand is why do this tests come out positive, is it something we did wrong?

I failed my 3 hour glucose test and now I have to take my blood sugar 4 times a day and see a nutritionist and a perinatal specialist...haven't seen any of them since I was told I failed, but I see my nutritionist tomorrow, my OB friday and my specialist on the 19th. You definitely stay busy.

I failed my 1 hr tests with my daughter(last year)and my youngest son(this year), both my 3hr tests came back good. Even if you do have it. They'll most likely(depending how high it is) just keep you on a certain diet, if that doesn't work they'll add in shots of insulin. It'll be okay. =]

I do my 3 hour glucose this saturday coming up and I'm only 10 weeks. They did find the 1 hour one mildly elevated. Hope everything comes out ok w both of us.

Im 24weeks 3 days. I took the 3 hr glucose test yesterday. The doctor called me today and its high. :(.. i have to go to a nutritional class and there going to show me how to use the glucose meter. The following week i go see a highrisk pregnancy dr.. I heard the babies grow bigger. But i dont knw ill find out next week. Im so bummed. :(

I had to do a 3 hour test with my first and everything came back fine I also had to do it with this one 4 weeks ago and everything is OK apart from the fact my iron levels are a 11 so my midwife said there not low but has advised me to take iron supplements.
