Thanks well I'm due in October so and adoption and abortion is out of the question I'm gonna paint my belly n add baby feet and me n my friend r gonna tell her so
Since you're 17, i think you just need to sit down and be direct with them. I don't know your situation, but i was 18 with my first and knew my mom was going to freak out. I called her and told her over the phone. I stayed at aunt's house and lied about my due date because she wanted me to have a abortion. It all worked out but with bumps in the road. Her father and i gave her up for adoption, but it's open so we still see her. Her father and i are also husband and wife. We are very blessed with our situation. It's rare. If you need someone to talk to I'm here for you. In no way am I pushing adoption on you, i just knew abortion wasn't for me. My mom did later apologize for suggesting it, but again no judgment. Good luck to you.
for my parents I had a box for a baby gift put inside a crochet blanket also booties and a hat. On the outside I wrote a note saying "don't freak out" and inside a note saying "you're going to be grandparents" my husband just found the pregnancy test in the bathroom when he went to take a shower lol
As a christmas gift I made ornaments, had found star ornaments that you can insert a picture. I bought a stamp of baby feet and wrote "baby coming and my due date" then put that inside the ornament. My mom and inlaws loved it!
Get a can of prego sauce and say I am Prego!
In still looking for ideas
If your trying to... soften the blow, you should treat it like a happy happy moment your parents get to be grandparents!!! Maybe make them shirts that say gonna be a grandma or something. Bring an ultrasound picture if you have one.
I'm 17 so Idk how they will take it but ok
Loads of options I put pair of little knitted booties in the box with ultrasound pict and had a dinner with everyone and presented them to them they loves it.... just Google it u will find a lot of ideas
If your crafty, the options are endless! Lol. Honestly just Google pregnancy announcements, soooo many things out there. Personally I made one of those chalk board signs that says "our family is growing by 2 feet and a heartbeat" and took a picture of it on the beach, sent that to everyone (I'm long distance so it had to be a picture).
A picture of you, daddy and the ultrasound (if you've gotten one)
