im desperate! how to get rid of trapped gas???

I'm 24 wks and since I have been getting weekly progesterone shots so I won't go into preterm labor I have been having the worst pain in my upper abdomen. It is really hard and tight and feels like trapped air. I've tried getting on all fours and rocking back and forth, which didn't help. the other day I drank some sprite so I could burp and that helped for a little while but now its back with a vengeance!! I literally want to cry its so uncomfortable. Anybody know what I can do or even get at the store that works and is safe to take while pregnant?

Take a gas-x or a beano.

Prune juice I swear by it. Half a bottle and it sorts you right out!!

I am going try this I'm nearly 32 weeks I woke up in agony .. Around top of my bump rib area .. Couldn't even touch it .. To sit or lie down I was in agony .. I'm thinking ota trapped wind or something .. I took Rennie for heartburn and indigestion and it calmed it a bit

I wouldn't drink more soda - can't be good to add more bubbles to that mess! :( sorry you feel that way I never had gas pain before in my life til pregnancy and its the weirdest thing ever. I've never had it trapped before though I've felt a super painful bubble travel down on its way out the whole way through it was awful! I say look it up on babycenter online I'm sure there are other moms whove been through the same thing, or just google ways to naturally release trapped gas
