its almost time!!

Scheduled for a Csection at 10:30 am Thursday morning. Have to be at the hospital at 8:15, kinda nervous and disappointed that I won't be getting time try for a vbac but the way I look at it, less chance of complications and boy will I be relieved to be able to walk again. My legs have been so sore this past month. It's all worth it in the end to hold my precious baby boy. I will be updating occasionally before and after surgery. Good luck to all you mommies!!

@tripletmom2015 after Csection, u go into recovery for about 30min-1hr while the meds wear down. Plus u are numb and can't really hold your baby. After recovery, they usually bring baby to Ur room after they have finished all the testing and cleaning the baby up. It took them around 3 hours to bring me my baby, Idk Wat they were doing and I was going crazy. It usually doesn't take that long

Why did you have to wait to hold him? I'm pregnant with triplets so I have to do a c section.

Thanks. It's been almost 12 hrs and I'm starving. I had a spinal done and the morphine had me so nauseous I have been unable keep to keep anything down. It's so worth it all tho.

Well good luck! How far along are you? The only complaint I had about having a Csection is you deliver, you go into recovery so u don't even get to hold the baby right away, I felt so drugged up and nauseous I had to keep handing my son to someone the last time. Then after I was discharged my incision got infected so that was some horrible pain as well, but hoping the second time around isn't as bad

My babe is big and breech and I have excess fluid. So far not caused by anything as all my tests are always normal. If I keep progressing the way I am and she doesn't flip I'll be scheduled. At this point I'm not entirely confident in vaginal delivery with a big baby at term because I'm pretty small of a person. We'll just have to see. Keep us updated on the outcome.

@camdyns_mommy1 it may be braxton Hicks they do get very uncomfortable. Do they go away when you switch positions? Try getting up and walking around when they start, they should ease up. Also, try timing them. If braxton Hicks they will be irregular,  labor contractions are regular intervals and increase in intensity and length and become closer together. Good luck!

@indiVidual1146 I'm not dilated at all. My due date is Saturday April 4, but having gestational diabetes they don't want me to wait tolong to try and labor because it gives more time for the baby to be big. I had a vaginal delivery with my 1st and Csection with my 2nd so I was really hoping to go vaginal with this one, but Unfortunately my cervix just will not open for $h!t.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and this is my first child, I've been having Braxton hicks all day but they are starting to hurt really bad.... Does this sound like Braxton hicks or should I go to the doctor? I need advice!

Can I ask why you got scheduled for a cesarean? I might be needing one so I'm getting first hand experience and advice.
