I had a horrible headache that lasted almost a week.My doctor had me go into labor and delivery to have my blood pressure checked.Everything was fine.I was a little dehydrated so I was given two iv bags tylenol and my headache barely budged. They gave me a extremely low dose of morphin and that helped.... less than a week later my headache is back....I see my doctor tomorrow so I will see what he wants to do.

I too had a spurt of horrid headaches. I searched online for remedies without use of pills. I dont know if itll help for you, but for me the BEST solution was drinking water, nap, going to sleep early - most importantly helped my head, was closing my eyes and breathing in fresh air for approx 10min or more

Lots of rest and lots of water....even staying away from light as much as possible helped me....I went by these simple steps. ... hope it helps you....When a headache strikes:

Rest. Lie down in a dark, quiet room with your eyes closed.
Use a compress. Apply a warm compress (such as a hot towel) to your face, eyes and temples — or try a cold compress on the back of your neck.
Try massage. Ask someone to massage your shoulders and neck to relieve tension. You might rub your temples, too.
