Congrats, with my body told me what to eat and drink before i even knew i was pregnant. I randomly felt the urge to go buy lots of fruits and veggies, and was always thirsty but only wanted water. I would suggest fruits and veggies and lots of water, i never had morning sickness and i think that is why. I was always very hungry, but when i was thinking about what i wanted to eat it was home cooked chicken with veggies or a salad. These are both good for you. Lots of milk, but like she said make sure any dairy product you eat is pasteurized. I suggest for prenatals, the gummy kind is the tastier and easier, but you will also need to get a iron supplement. I didnt and now how really low iron. :(

They count the beginning of pregnancy from the beginning of your last period. So if you just missed a period then 5 weeks is likely correct. Start taking prenatal vitamins right away. Avoid any raw or undercooked meat. Make sure any soft cheese you have has been pasteurized. Call your doctor and make an appointment for a blood test to confirm the pregnancy and to have a dating ultrasound to get your most accurate due date. Congrats.
