moms of toddlers

I just have a question for any mommies out there that have toddlers or even older children but i have a 2 year old step son and it seems every week that we get him (4 days out of the week) he is ALWAYS sick with something whether it be a cold, flu, or just some coughing. But lately i feel like he has been sick way too much for a 2 year old. Now this week he has had exessive vomiting mostly flem but it has come and ago for most of his life now to where he has these vomiting episodes now my question for you moms is have any of you had an overly sick child or was there something more serious than just the common cold.

Poor Darling is his home dirty ? An old friend of mine was very dirty. There were insects everywhere and she would never vaccume or sterilize. Her one year old was braking out in rashes and vomiting, getting colds .. All the time.
She would always have him on medication but I'm sure it was from his environment =[

Sounds like his immune system is non existent.  If he is on antibiotics a lot that is not good at all.  He needs to get his gut healed and healthy bacteria reintroduced into his intestines.  Look for "Lifeway" brand kefir at the store.  It tastes like yogurt and comes in a few flavors.  Also, I would encourage you to breastfeed your baby when born because you are going to pass on antibodies through your breast milk that will protect your baby from getting sick.  Baby will be exposed to stepsons germs.  Homeade milk kefir is even better for him but has to be mixed with fruit in a smoothie for kids to like it.  Do this and you should see his health improve.  Probe otic are so good for us in so many ways.  Antibiotics kill ALL bacteria in our body.  Good and bad.  So antibiotics should be avoided unless absolutely necessary and if needed, then you will need to reintroduce the good bacteria back into the gut.  Kefir has much higher amounts of good prebiotic in it than yogurt.  Read up on kefir.

Is he in day care? My daughter never got sick until she started going to the babysitters and was around other kids. Now she gets a cold often and even had influenza this year.

It is possible I have two older children one is 7 and the other 4 and it seems like I have them at the Dr all the time either sick to their stomach or some bad congested cough it's not bad parenting and it might not be some underlining problem bc my kids haven't had any they have just been sick which it's been worse since they have been in school but still happened before

Well as a step parent, ask the father to write a note or email the dr they regularly see to allow you to take his son to be seen. If he is always sick he has an underlining sickness or he isnt being taking cared of properly. If your that concerned take him your self or ask his father too.
