Just experienced brown discharge????
Oh my goodness..lol..such a common question that i ask my self and my friends ask every pregnancy
B/c all us experienced mammas know every pregnancy is so unique and different but same concerns and questions which is completely natural to want the best for ourselves and kiddos. Myself personally (in my own experience) my 1st two girls i had lost my mucus plug come all at once either on a pad or when wiping . It for sure looked like you just blew your nose with some pink tinge to it. As every woman should do confirm with your midwife or ob just to set your mind at ease of what your actually seeing. With my 1st daughter i lost my mucous plug and two days later i ended up in labor and delivery they broke my water and walla healthy baby girl..with my 3rd pregnancy with my son i had gradually lost my plug over two weeks between the end of last june (also my and my husband wedding anniversary) lucky him...lol...and the begging of june. I had no idea it could take so long for a mucous plug to come out and assumed it would come the same as my last two. Always learning something new!
Congrats to all the new mammas!
K cause I'm get a lil crampy
I've been losing bits like you describe for a couple of weeks now. I was told it's perfectly normal and doesn't necessarily mean labour is near. If it's bloody tinged (pink red or brown) then it indicates cervical change such as dilation. Which is why (generally) labour can occur shortly after the bloody show.
I just had a stringy white in the toilet is that my mucus plug. Started to contract a lil bit
That's good then :) she's 4/5ths engaged and the amount of pressure is horrendous so it's good to know things are moving along
I have been losing my mucus plug for 2 days now. No blood show or anything just the plug
Mine was like that for two days then yesterday it came out with blood, how far along are you?
