pain from spinal/epidural

I had a csection november 20th and had to get a spinal, it took 2 anesthesiologist and several times for them to get the needle in correctly now im suffering with back pain and headaches. Any other moms suffering?

I was planning on getting an epidural when I go into labor but this defiantly makes me want to change my mind.

I had an epidural in 2011 and where they did it still hurts if touched/pressed on. It will get better with time but I have heard some people have problems with that for years after. Talk to your doctor if it is really worry you or if you want options for what to do

I had an epidural 2 years ago and i never got back pain or anything but i definitely have nerve damage where the needle went in thankfully its only sore if purposely pressed on other than that no pain. If it does get pressed on its so painful I get pretty close to tears.

Sorry, I just noticed you had your spinal on Nov. 20th. It's not normal you still have head and backaches. You might have some subdural complications which should be taken care of by a specialist.

This is exactly why I am dreading the c-section or even the epidural. This is a common side effect from getting a needle in your back. From what I've heard there's not much you can do for the headaches except to wait for it to go away (my husband needed 1 week after his spinal to get rid of the headache). Sorry for the bad news.
I bet they made you sign a paper before your anesthesia where you take full responsibility for this "possible and rare side effect" - you were just not able (for apparent reasons) to read everything that is written in that consent form :(
