Im a little freaked out since i wabt to do things right, im not sure if someone will talk to me about it or if i have to figure it out my self. Any one help plz?

I have two kids already and have never gone to a pediatrician. Our family Dr takes care of all of us. I imagine if one of them got an illness out of the ordinary, we would be referred to a pediatrician, but unless you have an ob as opposed to a family Dr overseeing your pregnancy, you should be fine to just use your Dr.

Find a pediatrician now. They will ask you who your pediatrician is in the hospital. This way you will know, and you will be able to make sure they are covered by your insurance.

From what I learned, which I still have to do soon is that your family dr can give you referrals to pediatricians. Also at the hospital, there are pediatricians on staff that will check on your baby and may even be your baby's pediatrician afterwards. Best to call your dr and see who to check out.
